1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Bartlett High School
4 boys basketball team, the Hawks, on winning the Upstate Eight
5 Conference championship; and

6     WHEREAS, The Hawks defeated East Aurora High School by a
7 score of 67 to 51 to claim their championship and avenge a loss
8 to the Tomcats from the previous week; and

9     WHEREAS, The Hawks compiled a season record of 12 wins and
10 four losses; and

11     WHEREAS, The Hawks are coached by Head Coaches James
12 Wolfsmith and Tom Lamberti; and

13     WHEREAS, The Hawks will remember this season for years to
14 come; therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
16 HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17 we congratulate the Bartlett High School boys basketball team,
18 the Hawks, on winning the Upstate Eight Conference
19 championship; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the Hawks as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
