HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Sue Litterly on her retirement from the United States Postal Service; and

WHEREAS, Sue Litterly began her career with the United States Postal Service in August of 1990; and

WHEREAS, Rising through the ranks with increasing responsibility, Sue Litterly was named customer relations coordinator for the Springfield post office, Central Illinois, and Gateway Districts; and

WHEREAS, Sue Litterly also worked as a media relations liaison for the 618, 619, 625, 626, and 627 ZIP Code areas; and

WHEREAS, Sue Litterly's responsibilities included marketing incentives, new product rollout, special community projects, human resources, customer concern resolutions with both congressional aides and the general public, and media relations; and

WHEREAS, Sue Litterly retired on September 30, 2021 with over 31 years of service; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Sue Litterly on her retirement from the United States Postal Service; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Sue Litterly as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
