HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Brittnie Nicole Stinnett of Broadview, who passed away on July 17, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Brittnie Stinnett was an alum of McKinley Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School, and Proviso West High School; and

WHEREAS, During her high school commencement in 2008, Brittnie Stinnett met Illinois House Speaker Emanuel Chris Welch, who signed and handed her her high school diploma, and this moment became one of her favorite memories; and

WHEREAS, Brittnie Stinnett was a true pillar of the 7th District and a beloved member of the Bellwood community; and

WHEREAS, Brittnie Stinnett was adored within her community and will be missed greatly; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Brittnie Nicole Stinnett and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Brittnie Stinnett as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
