SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

325 ILCS 20/13.1 new

Amends the Early Intervention Services System Act. Provides that for State Fiscal Year 2023, the Department of Human Services shall increase by 6% the reimbursement rates for developmental therapy services and vision therapy services administered by providers who are credentialed or otherwise qualified to provide such services under the early intervention services program. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning children.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Early Intervention Services System Act is amended by adding Section 13.1 as follows:

(325 ILCS 20/13.1 new)

Sec. 13.1. Reimbursement rates; developmental and vision therapy services. For State Fiscal Year 2023, the Department of Human Services shall increase by 6% the reimbursement rates for developmental therapy services and vision therapy services administered by providers who are credentialed or otherwise qualified to provide such services under the early intervention services program in accordance with 89 Ill. Adm. Code 500.60 and 500.APPENDIX C.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
