SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John E. Ramm, who passed away on June 22, 2019 at the age of 68; and

WHEREAS, John Ramm was born in Oak Park on August 25, 1950; he graduated from Oak Park and River Forest High School in 1968; and

WHEREAS, John Ramm diligently worked as a production supervisor at Cenveo Envelope Company for 27 years; and

WHEREAS, John Ramm was a highly accomplished and successful bowler as well as pool player; and

WHEREAS, John Ramm had a great love for classic cars and attended classic car shows and festivals throughout the Chicagoland area; he brought his prized 1961 Chevrolet Impala to many classic car events in Forest Park; and

WHEREAS, At the time of his death, John Ramm was survived by his brother, James Scott (Patsy) Palmer, and countless friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John E. Ramm and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Ramm as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
