SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Virginia Ann "Ginger" Kietzman of
4Champaign, who passed away on January 21, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ginger Kietzman was born in Fairbury to Robert O.
6and Geraldine M. Hornickel Kietzman on December 31, 1946; she
7grew up on the family farm in Melvin; she graduated from
8Melvin-Sibley High School and attended Eastern Illinois
9University; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Ginger Kietzman was a clinical laboratory
11technologist for 30 years, working in Illinois and Washington;
12upon moving back to Illinois, she worked for the Champaign
13County State's Attorney's office for seven years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Ginger Kietzman was a member of the First
15Lutheran Church of Paxton; she enjoyed music, needlework,
16cooking, coloring, and puzzles; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ginger Kietzman was preceded in death by her
18parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Ginger Kietzman is survived by her sister, Jayne
20(Kenneth) Sinn; her nephew, Jeff (Jessie) Sinn; her three

1nieces, Emily (Chris) Allen, Molly Sinn, and Jenny (Josh)
2Foley; her three great-nephews; her five great-nieces; her
3three step-great-nieces; her aunts, Judy Hornickel and Vivian
4Hornickel; and her many cousins; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Virginia Ann "Ginger" Kietzman and extend our sincere
8condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
9her; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Ginger Kietzman as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
