SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Todd Anthony Hanneken of Decatur; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken was born in Decatur to Jerry and
5Vickie (St. Pierre) Hanneken on December 3, 1975; he graduated
6from Mt. Zion High School in 1994 and received his bachelor's
7degree in criminal justice sciences from Illinois State
8University in 1999; he married Michelle Jean "Shelley" Hillman
9on August 18, 2001; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken achieved his lifelong goal of
11becoming a second generation Illinois State Police Trooper in
12December of 2000 as a part of Cadet Class 100; he was assigned
13first to State Police District 15 in Downers Grove and then
14home to State Police District 10, Pesotum; he received several
15professional honors; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken was dedicated to his family and
17friends and served not just his family and friends but also his
18community of Mt. Zion and the entire State; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken was preceded in death by his
20grandparents, Paul and Evelyn Hanneken and Gerald St. Pierre;

1    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken is survived by his wife of nearly
220 years, Shelley; his sons, Benjamin Anthony and Nicholas
3William; his parents; his brother, Chad (Mandy); his
4grandmother, Doris St. Pierre; his in-laws, Bill and Linda
5Westbrook and Greg Hillman; his sister-in-law, Wendy Boeke
6(Jim Judd); and his nieces and nephews, Cade Hanneken, Luke
7Hanneken, McKinleigh Killham, and Grace Boeke; therefore, be
8it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Todd Anthony Hanneken and extend our sincere condolences to
12his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Todd Hanneken as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
