SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michele R. Jarnagin of Granite City, who passed away on January 14, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Michele Jarnagin was born in Alton on May 22, 1968; and

WHEREAS, Michele Jarnagin had worked as an administrative assistant at Gateway Regional Medical Center; and

WHEREAS, Michele Jarnagin was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City; she enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family, especially her niece, Belle Jarnagin, and she will be remembered for all the special times they shared together; and

WHEREAS, Michele Jarnagin was preceded in death by her father, Frank Greathouse; her daughters, Alicia M. Lohr and Megan L. Lohr; and her son, Zachary T. Jarnagin; and

WHEREAS, Michele Jarnagin is survived by her fiancé, Ted Lohr; her mother, Martha (McElroy) Jarnagin; her daughter, Alexandra Lohr; her brother, Michael R. Jarnagin and Peggy Kleinschmidt; her granddog, Czar; and numerous other close family members and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Michele R. Jarnagin and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michele Jarnagin as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
