SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Harry A. Fink Jr. of Moline, who
4passed away on April 1, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Harry Fink was born to Harry A. and Edith I.
6(Boberg) Fink in Lafayette, Indiana on January 2, 1933; he
7attended Wea Grade and High School near Lafayette and
8graduated in 1951; he received a Bachelor of Science degree in
9Agricultural Engineering from Purdue University in 1955; he
10served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957; he married Judith S.
11Ide on January 29, 1956; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Harry Fink retired from John Deere in 1985 after
1330 years of service; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Harry Fink was a member of the First Presbyterian
15Church of Coal Valley and kept records for the Food Pantry at
16his church for many years; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Harry Fink could often be found using his
18computer; he also enjoyed playing cards and various other
19games and watching movies with his friends at Overlook
20Village; and

1    WHEREAS, Harry Fink was preceded in death by his wife; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Harry Fink is survived by his two daughters,
3Shari L. Monson and Suellen (Jeff) K. Richardson; his
4granddaughter, Megan S. Monson; and his great-granddaughter,
5Olivia R. Monson; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Harry A. Fink Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Harry Fink as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
