720 ILCS 590/2   from Ch. 38, par. 70-52
    Amends the Discrimination in Sale of Real Estate Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the sentence for a violation ofthe Act.

1     AN ACT concerning criminal law.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Discrimination in Sale of Real Estate Act is
5 amended by changing Section 2 as follows:

6     (720 ILCS 590/2)  (from Ch. 38, par. 70-52)
7     Sec. 2. Sentence.
8     (a) Any person who violates any provision of this Act
9 commits a Class A misdemeanor, providedthat~~that~~ such person
10 has not been convicted of any prior offense under the terms of
11 this Act.
12     (b) Any person who violates any provision of this Act after
13 having been previously convicted of an offense under this
14 Section, commits a Class 4 felony.
