| 2 | | WHEREAS, United States Army PFC Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer gave | 3 | | his life in Said of Abdullah (Southern Baghdad), Iraq, in the | 4 | | service of his country on May 19, 2005, while serving with | 5 | | Headquarters and Headquarters Company 2nd Battalion, 70th | 6 | | Armor, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Armored Division; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer joined the U.S. Army in 2004, | 8 | | following in the footsteps of his father, Fred Eisenhauer, and | 9 | | his grandfather, Fred "Fritz" Eisenhauer; he completed his | 10 | | basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and was stationed at Fort | 11 | | Riley, Kansas, when his unit deployed to Iraq; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer was born in Pinckneyville on | 13 | | June 14, 1978; he was the son of Fred and Gay Eisenhauer and | 14 | | the brother of Rebecca, Hannah, and Leah; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer was survived by his parents, | 16 | | Fred and Gay Eisenhauer; his sister, Rebecca Anderson and her | 17 | | husband, Willie Anderson; his nieces, Alexis and Caitlyn | 18 | | Anderson; his nephew and namesake, Jacob William Dale Anderson; | 19 | | his sisters, Hannah and Leah Eisenhauer; his grandmother, | 20 | | Catherine Eisenhauer; his great-grandmothers, Ruth Huffstutler | 21 | | and Mildred Farthing; his aunts and uncles, Larry and Sherry | 22 | | Goldman, Todd and Susan Farthing, Tim and Carla Hankla, Darrell |

| 1 | | and Sharon Eisenhauer, Ross and Linda Eisenhauer, and Bill and | 2 | | Mary Lou Ozburn; and his many cousins and friends; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, This fallen soldier deserves to be remembered by | 4 | | the State of Illinois for his service to this country; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 7 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE | 8 | | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we designate the section of | 9 | | Illinois Route 127 from the intersection of Illinois Route 127 | 10 | | and Illinois Route 152 to the north Pinckneyville city limits | 11 | | on Illinois Route 127 as the PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer Memorial | 12 | | Highway; and be it further
| 13 | | RESOLVED, The Illinois Department of Transportation is | 14 | | requested to erect at suitable locations, consistent with State | 15 | | and federal regulations, appropriate plaques or signs giving | 16 | | notice of the name of the "PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer Memorial | 17 | | Highway"; and be it further
| 18 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | 19 | | delivered to the Secretary of the Illinois Department of | 20 | | Transportation and the family of PFC Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer.
