HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Robbie L. Johns as she retires from the Hazel Crest School District 152.5; and

WHEREAS, Robbie Johns began working for Hazel Crest on February 4, 1980; and

WHEREAS, Robbie Johns serves as the district's one and only social worker, providing services to 5 buildings that total 1,000 to 1,200 students; she has 20 to 30 individual direct special education counseling students, 25 to 100 full case study reports per year, 25 to 70 early childhood screenings, and 2 to 3 weekly student evaluation conferences; she serves as Rtl and PBIS representative, crisis intervention coordinator, and homeless student and family coordinator; and

WHEREAS, Robbie Johns has been a tireless employee over the years with near perfect yearly attendance; she was usually the first person to arrive and the last to leave; and

WHEREAS, Robbie Johns retirement will become official on May 28, 2013, with a total of 34 years of service; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Robbie Johns on her retirement from the Hazel Crest School District, thank her for her commitment to education, and wish her all the best in her future endeavours; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Robbie Johns as an expression of our esteem and respect.
