SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Justin Moore of Crystal Lake, who passed away on April 28, 2014; and

WHEREAS, John Moore was born on October 21, 1970 in Plattsburgh, New York; his parents were Jerome and Susan (nee Flannery) Moore; he married Margaret "Maggie" (nee Nichols) on July 5, 1997, in Poughkeepsie, New York; and

WHEREAS, John Moore attended Saratoga Springs High School and Plattsburgh State University; and

WHEREAS, John Moore was a proud member of the United States Army Reserve; and

WHEREAS, John Moore was employed as a Senior Technical Director at AT&T; he was also a self-employed businessman of the Algonquin Family Laundromat and was involved with other business ventures; and

WHEREAS, John Moore was a member of numerous organizations, including the Nunda Masonic Lodge #169 of Crystal Lake, the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Algonquin Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church; he also served as a volunteer at the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity; and

WHEREAS, John Moore was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Ann Flannery; his paternal grandparents, Justin and Catherine Moore; and an uncle, John Flannery; and

WHEREAS, John Moore is survived by his loving wife, Maggie; 2 children, Collin Jerome Moore and Lena Donnarumma; his parents, Jerome and Susan; a sister, Amy S. (Brendan) Kelly; a brother, William B. (Christina) Moore; 4 uncles, Kevin, Christopher, Patrick, and Dennis Flannery; an aunt, Linda Flannery; 2 cousins, Bridget and Chelsey Flannery; 3 nephews, Justin and Joey Moore and Alex Kelly; and 2 nieces, Cetera Moore and Mackenzie Kelly; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of John Justin Moore; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Moore as an expression of our sympathy.
