SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lorene Page, who passed away on April 9, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Lorene Page was born January 9, 1919, in Benton; her parents were William C. Hobbs and Allie Hobbs; she married John D. Page on December 24, 1937; and

WHEREAS, Lorene Page served as a secretary with the Franklin County Farm Bureau until her retirement; and

WHEREAS, Lorene Page was a member of Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church; she also attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton; and

WHEREAS, Lorene Page enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Lorene Page was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and her brother, Bill Hobbs; and

WHEREAS, Lorene Page is survived by her sons, James (Vicki) Page and John (Mary) Page; her grandchildren, Chelsea (Dusty) Crisp, Courtney (Josh) Chady, Randy (Rachel) Page, and Julie (Tony) Koziarz; her great-grandchildren, Rylee and Raygan Taylor Crisp, Derek and Ashley Page, Cooper Daniel Chady, and Katie and Elizabeth Koziarz; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Lorene Page; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lorene Page as an expression of our sympathy.
