SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eugene "Fuzzy" Moore Jr. of Springfield, who passed away on April 24, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Moore Jr. was born on December 2, 1953, in Springfield; his parents were Alfred Eugene Moore Sr. and Mary Nation Moore; he married Kay Moore on June 18, 1982; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Moore Jr. served as a truck driver for Republic Services for 39 years; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Moore Jr. enjoyed riding his Harley and collecting bar memorabilia; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Moore Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Cindy Moore; and his special dog, Pooh; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Moore Jr. is survived by his wife, Kay; his daughters, Chastane (David) Shillaker and Kitty Moore; his sons, Jason Adkins, Raymond (Lexi) Moore, and Beauford Moore; his 10 grandchildren; his brother, Terry (Francie); his aunt; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Eugene "Fuzzy" Moore, Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eugene Moore Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
