SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Janet DellaValle of Waukegan, who passed away on June 7, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle was born on July 8, 1930, in West Frankford to James and Millie (Levanti) Lolli; she graduated from Highland Park High School in 1948; and

WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle enjoyed a career as a beautician; and

WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle was actively involved in her community and was a member of the Park Place Senior Center; and

WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, John; and her daughter, Jacqueline Carlander; and

WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle is survived by her son, James (Cheryl Penzik) DellaValle; her daughter, Jeanne (Gary) Gotkowski; her son-in-law, Mitch Carlander; her grandchildren, Megan and Brittany Carlander, Jenna, Jake, Jamie, and Jillian DellaValle, and Jaclyn, Rebecca, and Trevor Gotkowski; her great-grandchild, Sawyer Nicholas; her brother, Bill Lolli; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her beloved dog, Susie; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Janet DellaValle, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Janet DellaValle as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
