SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Norman Gene Schuette of Edwardsville, who
4passed away on October 28, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Norman Schuette was born on December 10, 1932 in
6Highland; his parents were Frank and Verna (nee Bollman)
7Schuette; he married Nadeen Fingerhut on September 10, 1955;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Norman Schuette graduated from Collinsville High
10School in 1950; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Norman Schuette served in the United States Army
12from February of 1953 to February of 1955; he played trombone
13in the 47th Division Band at Fort Benning, Georgia; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Norman Schuette was employed at the Spectrulite
15Consortium in Madison for many years until his retirement in
161992; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Norman Schuette is survived by his wife, Nadeen;
18his children, Kent (Bonni) Schuette, Sandra Schuette Fultz, and
19Greg (Maureen) Schuette; his grandchildren, Dr. Jacob (Dr.
20Christy Wohlford) Schuette, Benjamin Schuette, Emily Fultz,

1Jason (Robin) Fultz, Tom Schuette, Marissa Schuette, Nick
2Schuette, and Brett Halbe; his great-granddaughter, Dylan Jean
3Schuette; his brothers, Howard (Alene) Schuette, Robert (Pam)
4Schuette, and Tom Schuette (friend, Tonya); his aunt, Dorothy
5Akins; his sister-in-law, Carol (Mark) Petty; and his many
6nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Norman Gene Schuette;
10and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Norman Schuette as an expression of
13our sympathy.
