| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of John Robert "Bob" Bender of Manito, who | | 4 | | passed away on November 25, 2013; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, John Bender was born on September 5, 1949 in | | 6 | | Pekin; his parents were F.E. "Fritz" and Hazel (nee Waldon) | | 7 | | Bender; and
| | 8 | | WHEREAS, John Bender was a member of Carpenters Local 644 | | 9 | | in Pekin for many years; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, John Bender was preceded in death by his parents; | | 11 | | and
| | 12 | | WHEREAS, John Bender is survived by his sons, Scott (Kim) | | 13 | | Bender, Matt (Nikki) Bender, and Andrew Bender; his daughter, | | 14 | | Jenn Bender; his grandchildren, Chase, Connor, Nick, Allie, | | 15 | | Ian, Nathan, Joseph, Alex, and Alaina Bender; and his sisters, | | 16 | | Joy Bender, Bonnie Urish, and LaDonne Snavely; therefore, be it
