SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Rita C. (nee Wilton) Hagerty, who passed away on January 5, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Rita Hagerty was born on February 12, 1914 to Harry and Isabelle (nee O'Brien) Wilton; and

WHEREAS, Rita Hagerty was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Isabelle Peterson; and her brother, William Wilton; and

WHEREAS, Rita Hagerty was the beloved wife of the late James J. Hagerty; the loving mother of James (Maureen), Maryann Bobor, Margarita Holmes, Patrick, Raymond, Thomas (Nancy), Michael, and the late Baby James and Baby Patrick; the cherished grandmother of 17; the proud great-grandmother of 28; and sister to Harry J. Wilton; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Rita C. Hagerty, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rita Hagerty as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
