SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Donald "Don" W. Wilson, who passed away on December 11, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was born on March 4, 1947 in Springfield; his parents were John T. and Myrtle Hayse Wilson; he married Marilyn Esslinger on January 18, 1965; and

WHEREAS, Donald Wilson retired from Ameren-CIPS after 25 years of service in electrical maintenance; and

WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was a member of South Side Christian Church, the Aqua Sports Club, and the Elks Lodge; and

WHEREAS, Donald Wilson enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, and wintering in Florida; and

WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; his parents; his sister; his 2 half-brothers; and his half-sister; and

WHEREAS, Donald Wilson is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Gregg) Formigoni; his son, Ron (Staci) Wilson; his grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Morgan, Whitney, and Zachary; his sister, Velma (Don) Claypool; his brothers, Albert (Frances) Wilson, Tom (Diane) Wilson, Bill (Marty) Wilson, and Bob (Theresa) Wilson; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald "Don" W. Wilson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald Wilson as an expression of our sympathy.
