AN ACT concerning local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding Section 1-2-1.3 as follows:

(65 ILCS 5/1-2-1.3 new)

Sec. 1-2-1.3. Pet grooming vending machines. The corporate authorities of a municipality may adopt an ordinance to prohibit or regulate the location of vending machines that provide an enclosed space or designated area for the use of a customer for pet grooming using goods or services dispensed by the machine.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
