| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Local Union #136 on the | 4 | | occasion of the 110th anniversary of its founding; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Local Union #136, formally known as the Riggers, | 6 | | Machinery Movers & Machinery Erectors Local Union #136, was | 7 | | founded in 1913; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Local #136 supplies skilled machinery movers to | 9 | | union contractors and consists of its own well-trained work | 10 | | force and training center; and | 11 | | WHEREAS, Local #136's training center trains apprentices | 12 | | and offers journeyman training courses to keep them trained in | 13 | | the latest technology in construction; and | 14 | | WHEREAS, Additionally, Local #136 offers journeymen | 15 | | courses in CPR, first aid, fork lift certification, OSHA-10, | 16 | | foreman upgrading, journeyman retraining, stewards customer | 17 | | service, and welding certification; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Local #136 upholds a substance abuse policy to | 19 | | exceed owner requirements and be drug free and conducts sexual | 20 | | harassment training; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Local #136 demonstrates a commitment to | 2 | | excellence, a highly-trained workforce, cost, quality time, | 3 | | and safety; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, For 110 years, Local #136 has provided | 5 | | opportunities to supply skilled machinery movers to union | 6 | | contractors and help members succeed in their careers and | 7 | | lives; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 9 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 10 | | we congratulate Local Union #136 on its 110th anniversary, and | 11 | | we wish it many more successful years; and be it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to Business Manager FS/T Robert J. Fulton, President | 14 | | John C. Stone Jr., Vice President Robert Pizur, and Recording | 15 | | Secretary Robert F. Fulton as an expression of our esteem and | 16 | | respect.
