SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Robert C. "Bob" Clark of Wyoming, who
4passed on January 13, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Clark was born in Chicago to Harry W. and
6Jeanette I. (McCullough) Clark on April 3, 1943; he served in
7the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1970, which included a
8tour of duty in Vietnam; he married Sandra A. "Sandi" (Ferris)
9Webber on July 7, 1979; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Clark spent several years in law enforcement,
11last serving in that field as Wyoming Chief of Police; later,
12he worked as a maintenance technician in various area
13hospitals, retiring from OSF in 2012; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bob Clark was a member of the Wyoming American
15Legion for 44 years, serving as both Post 91 Commander and 16th
16District Commander; he was part of the Central Illinois World
17War II Reenactors and sought to keep the history of World War
18II alive for future generations; he served many years as a Boy
19Scout Master for local Boy Scout Troop 142; his greatest joy
20was spending time with his growing family and his friends; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Bob Clark sang and played country-western music

1for over 60 years, including performing at many local events
2with Country Edition, a band he and a group of musician friends
3organized; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Bob Clark was preceded in death by his parents;
5his sister, Penny Ann Byrd; his brothers-in-law, Larry Byrd,
6James Tiller, and Charles "David" Rachel; and his
7great-granddaughter, Rorie Mae Hendrick; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Bob Clark is survived by his wife, Sandi; his
9daughter, Terri (Kelvin) Dudley; Sandi's children, Lynne
10(Paul) Knobloch, Wendy (Tim) Wagner, and Rich (Tanya) Webber;
11his grandchildren, Zach (Daniela) Knobloch, Chelsea (Derek)
12Hendrick, Shelby (Kolby) Haars, Logan Knobloch (Cassidy
13Baxter), Mark Wagner, Evan (Courtney) Webber, Shailar Webber
14(Ian Vrooman), Corbin and Bria Webber, David (Karleena) Wade,
15Danny (Megan) Wade, Tiffanie (Josh) Cooler, Stephanie (Kylee)
16Pagan, and A.J. Blackwell; 17 great-grandchildren; one
17great-great-grandchild; his sisters-in-law, Eleanor "Peaches"
18Tiller and Beatrice "Jr." Rachel; and several nieces and
19nephews; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
21ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
22Robert C. "Bob" Clark and extend our sincere condolences to
23his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3presented to the family of Bob Clark as an expression of our
4deepest sympathy.
