SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dale Otto Wynes of Reynolds, who passed away on April 30, 2023; and

WHEREAS, Dale Wynes was born to Otto D. and Ruth N. (McComas) Wynes in Moline on August 3, 1925; he married Marjorie L. Schultz in Princeton on April 23, 1948; he served in the U.S. Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Dale Wynes worked as a farmer in the Reynolds area; and

WHEREAS, Dale Wynes was preceded in death by his wife; his daughter-in-law, Donna Wynes; his two brothers; and his two sisters; and

WHEREAS, Dale Wynes is survived by his children, Ken (Martha) Wynes, Larry Wynes, Lois Smith, and Kay (Jeff) Wood; his nine grandchildren; and his 14 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dale Otto Wynes and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dale Wynes as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
