SENATE RESOLUTION

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the Rules of the Senate of the 103rd General Assembly are amended by adding Rule 5-7 as follows:

(Senate Rule 5-7 new)

5-7. Postponed consideration of lengthy bills. Notwithstanding any other provision of these Senate Rules, if a bill and all of its adopted amendments are collectively 200 or more single-sided pages in length when printed pursuant to Senate Rule 5-2, then the bill shall not be voted upon on Third Reading until the fourth session day after the date upon which the bill is either placed on the desks of all members or made available to all members electronically.
