Amends the Illinois Waterway Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the construction of the Illinois Waterway.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning transportation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Waterway Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

(615 ILCS 10/1) (from Ch. 19, par. 79)

Sec. 1. A deep waterway shall be constructed from the the water power plant of the Sanitary District of Chicago, at or near Lockport, in the township of Lockport, in the County of Will, to a point in the Illinois River at or near Utica. Such waterway shall be known as "The Illinois Waterway."
