 1        AN ACT concerning real property.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Residential Real Property Disclosure  Act
 5    is amended by changing Section 20 as follows:

 6        (765 ILCS 77/20)
 7        Sec.  20.  Seller's  disclosure  statement.   A seller of
 8    residential real property  shall    complete  all  applicable
 9    items  in  the disclosure document described in Section 35 of
10    this Act.  The seller shall deliver to the prospective  buyer
11    the  written disclosure statement required by this Act before
12    the  signing  of  a  written  agreement  by  the  seller  and
13    prospective buyer that would, subject to the satisfaction  of
14    any  negotiated  contingencies, require the prospective buyer
15    to accept a transfer of the residential real property.
