 1        AN ACT concerning insurance.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Insurance  Code  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 356f as follows:

 6        (215 ILCS 5/356f) (from Ch. 73, par. 968f)
 7        Sec.  356f.  Use  of DES. No policy of accident or health
 8    insurance or any renewal thereof shall be denied or cancelled
 9    by the  insurer,  nor  shall  any  such  policy  contain  any
10    exception or exclusion of benefits, solely because the mother
11    of   the   insured  has  taken  diethylstilbestrol,  commonly
12    referred to as DES.
