 1        AN   ACT   concerning  the  National  Home  for  Disabled
 2    Volunteer Soldiers.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.  The  Home for Disabled Soldiers Land Cession
 6    Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

 7        (5 ILCS 510/1) (from Ch. 1, par. 3701)
 8        Sec. 1.  Jurisdiction.  That jurisdiction  of  the  lands
 9    and  their  appurtenances,  that  which  may  be  acquired by
10    donation or purchase by the managers of the National Home for
11    Disabled Volunteer Soldiers within the State of Illinois, for
12    the uses and purposes of the said home,  be,  and  is  hereby
13    ceded  to  the  United  States of America: Provided, however,
14    that all civil or criminal process issued under the authority
15    of the State of Illinois, or any  officer  of  the  State  of
16    Illinois  thereof,  may  be executed on the said lands and in
17    the buildings that which may be located on the land  thereon,
18    in  the  same manner as if jurisdiction had not been ceded as
19    aforesaid, and the officers, employees, and  inmates  of  the
20    said  home  who  shall  be  qualified voters of the state, by
21    complying with the requirements of the laws that now  are  in
22    operation, or that hereafter may be enacted regulating state,
23    county,  and  town  elections  in  this state, shall have the
24    right of suffrage at all town, county, and state elections in
25    the town in the which said National Home shall be located.
