 1        AN ACT concerning housing.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.   The  Illinois  Housing  Development  Act  is
 5    amended by adding Section 24.5 as follows:

 6        (20 ILCS 3805/24.5 new)
 7        Sec.  24.5. To the extent that the Authority has reserves
 8    of funds under this Act in any State  fiscal  year,  it  must
 9    contribute some percentage of those reserves (i) to subsidize
10    affordable housing projects and (ii) to be deposited into the
11    Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
