 1        AN ACT concerning cemeteries.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Pre-Need Cemetery Sales  Act  is
 5    amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

 6        (815 ILCS 390/1) (from Ch. 21, par. 201)
 7        Sec.  1.  Purpose.   It  is  the  purpose of the Illinois
 8    Pre-Need  Cemetery  Sales  this  Act   to   assure   adequate
 9    protection  for those who contract through pre-need contracts
10    for the purchase of certain cemetery merchandise and cemetery
11    services and undeveloped interment, entombment  or  inurnment
12    space, when the seller may delay delivery or performance more
13    than 120 days following initial payment on the account.
