 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5. The amount of $800,000, or so much thereof as
 5    may be necessary, is appropriated from  the  General  Revenue
 6    Fund  to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for
 7    a  grant  to  the  City  of  East  St.  Louis   to   complete
 8    construction of 174 new housing units.

 9        Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
10    2003.
