 1        AN ACT concerning health facilities.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Hospital  Licensing  Act  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 10.3 as follows:

 6        (210 ILCS 85/10.3) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 151.3)
 7        Sec.  10.3.  Clinical  training  programs.   No  hospital
 8    shall  allow  any  person  to  take  part  as  a student in a
 9    clinical training program of that hospital which is designed,
10    in  whole  or  in  part,  to  fulfill  the  requirements  for
11    licensure as a physician  unless  that  person  is  currently
12    enrolled  as  a  student  in  a  curriculum  of  a medical or
13    osteopathic college or school  which  has  been  approved  as
14    being  reputable  and  in  good standing by the Department of
15    Professional Regulation or is enrolled in a curriculum  of  a
16    professional  school,  college  or  institution  teaching the
17    treatment of human ailments without drugs  or  medicines  and
18    without  operative  surgery  which has been approved as being
19    reputable  and  in  good  standing  by  the   Department   of
20    Professional Regulation.
