 1        AN ACT in relation to criminal law.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:


 4        Section 5.  The Gang  Crime  Witness  Protection  Act  is
 5    amended by changing Section 5-30 as follows:

 6        (725 ILCS 172/5-30)
 7        (Section scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2004)
 8        Sec. 5-30.  Repeal.  This Act is repealed on July 1, 2012
 9    2004.

11        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
12    becoming law.
