SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
230 ILCS 25/4.2   from Ch. 120, par. 1104.2

    Amends the Bingo License and Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning civil penalties for the failure to obtain a license or special provider's permit.

1     AN ACT in relation to gaming.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Bingo License and Tax Act is amended by
5 changing Section 4.2 as follows:
 
6     (230 ILCS 25/4.2)  (from Ch. 120, par. 1104.2)
7     Sec. 4.2. Civil penalties. Any person or organization which
8 provides premises for the conduct of bingo without first
9 obtaining a license or a special provider's permit to do so, or
10 having a provider's license or a special provider's permit
11 allows unlicensed organizations to conduct bingo on his
12 premises, or allows any form of illegal gambling to be
13 conducted on the premises where bingo is being played shall, in
14 addition to other penalties provided, be subject to a civil
15 penalty of $5,000.
