Amends the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning notice of examinations.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to units of local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act is amended by changing Section 4.8 as follows:

(70 ILCS 2605/4.8) (from Ch. 42, par. 323.8)

Sec. 4.8. Notice of the time and place and general scope and fee of every examination and of the duties, pay and nature of the position sought to be filled shall be given by the Director by publication for 2 weeks preceding the such examination, in a daily newspaper of general circulation published in the county in which the said sanitary district is situated and the such notice shall be posted by him or her in a conspicuous place in his or her office for 2 weeks before the such examinations.
