SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

230 ILCS 10/11.3 new

Amends the Riverboat Gambling Act. Provides that an owners licensee must pay all winnings to any patron of the owners licensee's riverboat upon demand for that payment by the patron.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Riverboat Gambling Act is amended by adding Section 11.3 as follows:

(230 ILCS 10/11.3 new)

Sec. 11.3. Payment of winnings. An owners licensee must pay all winnings to any patron of the owners licensee's riverboat upon demand for that payment by the patron. The owners licensee may withhold the payment required under this Section only if the licensee can prove that the patron is under 21 years of age.
