 1        AN ACT concerning mobile homes.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.   The  Mobile  Home  Park  Act  is amended by
 5    changing Section 4.3 as follows:

 6        (210 ILCS 115/4.3) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 714.3)
 7        Sec. 4.3.  Reduction of sites; consolidation.
 8        (a)  An application to  reduce  the  number  of  licensed
 9    sites  shall  be submitted to the Department no later than 10
10    days prior to the proposed date of reduction.   The  specific
11    sites  no  longer  required  to  be  licensed, and either the
12    method  of  disconnecting  the  required   utilities   or   a
13    description  of  the  method of immobilizing the mobile homes
14    shall be provided.  If the reduction results in less  than  5
15    mobile  homes  remaining,  the  license  shall be void if the
16    application is approved.  No  fee  shall  be  required.   The
17    licensee shall be responsible for insuring that all utilities
18    at  vacated  spaces are disconnected or sealed, as prescribed
19    by the Department.
20        (b)  A mobile home park  existing  and  licensed  by  the
21    Department  on  the  effective date of this amendatory Act of
22    the 93rd General Assembly may consolidate 2 or more  licensed
23    sites into a single site.

25        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
26    becoming law.
