HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Infant Jesus of Prague School in Flossmoor has been selected for a second time as a 2004 No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education; and

WHEREAS, The Blue Ribbon is awarded to the highest achieving schools in the nation, schools which provide evidence of a challenging and innovative curriculum, creative staff, motivated students and committed parents; and

WHEREAS, The Department of Education cited Infant Jesus of Prague School for its commitment to provide a Christian atmosphere in which growth and learning can take place; and

WHEREAS, The Infant Jesus of Prague School is committed to educating the whole person, acknowledging the moral, physical, intellectual, emotional and social dimensions of learning; and

WHEREAS, The Infant Jesus of Prague School is indeed worthy of our highest praise; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Infant Jesus of Prague School for being selected as a 2004 Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Principal Thomas Sedor and Assistant Principal Angela Gehm.
