 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, Faith Ministry of Chicago was organized on  July
 3    9, 1996 by Rev. Wilbert L. Taylor; and

 4        WHEREAS,  Faith  Ministry  attends  to  the  whole person
 5    through  regular  church  services,  as  well  as   community
 6    programs,  including  support groups, a job training program,
 7    an  ex-offender  program,  the   earn   fare   program,   and
 8    transitional   housing   and   clothing  assistance  for  the
 9    homeless; and

10        WHEREAS,  The  mission  of  the  Faith  Ministry  is   to
11    resurrect  those souls who have fallen astray, young and old,
12    and restore their hope and faith in God and man; its  mission
13    is to be more than a church, but to become a ministry that is
14    productive  in  every community they can reach; therefore, be
15    it

16        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
17    NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18    we  commend  Faith  Ministry  of  Chicago   on   its   eighth
19    anniversary of dedicated and committed service to the Chicago
20    community; and be it further

21        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
22    presented to Rev. Wilbert L. Taylor as an expression  of  our
23    respect and esteem.
