 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS,  The  members   of   the   Illinois   House   of
 3    Representatives  congratulate  Edward  and  Theresa  Bryk  of
 4    Chicago  on  celebrating  their  50th  wedding anniversary on
 5    November 14, 2003; and

 6        WHEREAS, Edward and Theresa Bryk have been  residents  of
 7    the  McKinley  Park area all their lives; they both graduated
 8    from Kelly High School in Chicago; and

 9        WHEREAS, They were married and baptized their children at
10    Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church,  the  congregation  they
11    have always belonged to; and

12        WHEREAS, Mr. Bryk served his country in the Army in World
13    War II; and

14        WHEREAS,  Edward  and  Theresa  have  seven children, Dr.
15    Deborah Bryk-Serva, John Bryk, Karen Bryk-Mlynarcik,  Kenneth
16    Bryk,  Cindy  Bryk,  Jeff Bryk, and Jennifer Bryk; and eleven
17    grandchildren,  Amanda,  Daniel,  Tracey,  Allison,  Shannon,
18    Samuel,  Matthew,  Rickey,   Charles,   James,   and   Grace;
19    therefore, be it

20        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
21    NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
22    we congratulate Edward and Theresa Bryk on their 50th wedding
23    anniversary  and  extend  to them our best wishes for a long,
24    happy life together in all of their future endeavors; and  be
25    it further

26        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
27    presented to Edward and Theresa Bryk as an expression of  our
28    respect and esteem.
