 1        AN ACT in relation to the Supreme Court.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Supreme Court Act is amended by changing
 5    Section 5 as follows:

 6        (705 ILCS 5/5) (from Ch. 37, par. 10)
 7        Sec.  5.  If the said supreme court does shall not sit in
 8    any term, or does shall not continue to sit the  whole  term,
 9    or  before  the  end  of  the  term  shall not have heard and
10    determined all matters and causes depending in  said  courts,
11    all matters and causes depending and undetermined shall stand
12    continued until the next succeeding term.
