SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

55 ILCS 5/5-1041.5 new

Amends the Counties Code. Authorizes the county board of any county to create a schedule for and to collect developer donation fees for certain impacts specifically and uniquely attributable to the development of any subdivision or resubdivision of land within an unincorporated area of the county. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning counties.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by adding Section 5-1041.5 as follows:

(55 ILCS 5/5-1041.5 new)

Sec. 5-1041.5. Developer donations. The county board of any county may create a schedule for and to collect developer donation fees for any impact on the county's public infrastructure, services, or operations if that impact is specifically and uniquely attributable to the development of any subdivision or resubdivision of land within an unincorporated area of that county.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
