Amends the State Treasurer Act. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the Treasurer's seal.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to the State Treasurer.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Treasurer Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

(15 ILCS 505/5) (from Ch. 130, par. 5)

Sec. 5. Seal. The Treasurer shall keep an official seal, which shall be used to authenticate all writings, papers and documents, required by law to be certified from his or her office; and copies of all records, writings, papers and documents legally in his or her keeping, when certified by him or her, and authenticated by his or her official seal, shall be received in evidence in the same manner and with like effect as the originals.
