 1        AN ACT concerning employment.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Workers'  Occupational  Diseases Act is
 5    amended by changing Section 13 as follows:

 6        (820 ILCS 310/13) (from Ch. 48, par. 172.48)
 7        Sec.  13.    The   Industrial   Commission   shall   have
 8    jurisdiction  over  the  operation and administration of this
 9    Act and it shall have, exercise, perform  and  discharge  the
10    same  rights, powers and duties with reference to this Act as
11    it shall have, exercise, perform and discharge with reference
12    to the Workers' Compensation Act or any amendment thereto  or
13    modification of that Act thereof.
