 1        AN ACT concerning aircraft.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Aeronautics Act  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 11 as follows:

 6        (620 ILCS 5/11) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.11)
 7        Sec.  11.  "Operation  of aircraft" or "operate aircraft"
 8    means the use of aircraft for the purpose of air  navigation,
 9    and  includes  the  navigation  or  piloting of aircraft. Any
10    person who causes or authorizes the  operation  of  aircraft,
11    whether  with  or  without the right of legal control (in the
12    capacity of owner, lessee, or otherwise) of the aircraft,  is
13    shall  be  deemed  to be engaged in the operation of aircraft
14    within the meaning of the statutes of this State.
