 1        AN ACT in relation to State procurement.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Procurement Code is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 50-10 as follows:

 6        (30 ILCS 500/50-10)
 7        Sec.   50-10.   Felons;  prohibition.   Unless  otherwise
 8    provided, no person or business convicted of a  felony  shall
 9    do  business  with  the State of Illinois or any State agency
10    from the date of conviction until 5 years after the date   of
11    completion  of the sentence for that felony, unless no person
12    held responsible by a prosecutorial office for the facts upon
13    which  the  conviction  was  based  continues  to  have   any
14    involvement with the business.
