 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  learned  with regret of the death of Janice H. "Ma"
 4    Yost of North Aurora on July 28, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Yost was born Janice Johnson on January 29,
 6    1934 in Big Grove to Clifford and Grace Johnson; and

 7        WHEREAS, Mrs. Yost was a member of  the  Aurora  Turner's
 8    Club;  her  passion was working the scoreboard for the Aurora
 9    Turner's Men's Softball League for over 15 years, as well  as
10    running  the  concession  stand;  along with her best friend,
11    Peggy Neimeyer, Mrs. Yost started the Halloween Haunted Trail
12    tradition in the woods behind the Turner's Club; and

13        WHEREAS, The passing of Janice H. Yost  has  been  deeply
14    felt by all who knew and loved her, especially by her husband
15    of  49  years, Gerald; her children, Robin Yost, Cindy (Jeff)
16    Tamblingson, and Brian Yost; her  grandchildren,  Jordan  and
17    Jennifer  Yost,  Amber  (Andy) Hettinger, and Eric, Andy, and
18    Kathy Tamblingson; her great-grandchildren, Erin  Janice  and
19    Casey Hettinger; her sisters, Virginia (Donald) Leach and Ann
20    (Richard) Wagner; and her several nieces and nephews; she was
21    preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Grace Johnson;
22    therefore, be it

23        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
24    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the  passing
25    of  Janice  H.  Yost  and  extend our deepest sympathy to her
26    family, friends, and community; and be it further

27        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
28    presented to the family of Janice H. Yost as an expression of
29    our sincerest condolences.
