 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Gary Lee Lisk
 4    of Naples, Florida; and

 5        WHEREAS,  Mr. Lisk was born on August 20, 1942 in Lincoln
 6    to Jack Robert "Bob" Lisk and Grace Alberta McKinley Lisk; he
 7    was a veteran of the United States Army; and

 8        WHEREAS, Mr. Lisk held  a  Master  of  Arts  degree  from
 9    Sangamon  State  University  in Springfield; he dedicated his
10    life  to  helping  others  as  an  addictions  counselor  and
11    certified hypnotherapist; and

12        WHEREAS, Mr. Lisk was formerly a counselor at  the  David
13    Lawrence  Center  in Naples, Florida, and had established his
14    own practice, A Kind Ear, for substance abuse; and

15        WHEREAS, The passing of Mr. Lisk has been deeply felt  by
16    many,   especially   his   children,  Nicole  Babcook,  Nefra
17    Christine   Reese,   and   Ginger   Leeann   Cullison;    his
18    grandchildren, Tyler and Connor Babcook, Courtney Reese, Ryan
19    Laughridge,  Dylan and Dalton Cullison, Brianna Veenstra, and
20    Erica and Angela Lisk; his siblings,  Kathie  Lisk  and  Gwen
21    Koda;  his  nieces,  Cindy  Pittman and Lindsey Spurling; his
22    nephews,  Rob  Cox,  David  Koda,  Hito  Koda,   and   Robbie
23    Heidbreder; and his numerous dear friends; therefore, be it

24        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
25    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the  passing
26    of  Gary  Lee  Lisk, and we offer our deepest sympathy to his
27    friends, family, and all who knew and loved him;  and  be  it
28    further

29        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
30    presented to the family of Gary Lee Lisk as an expression  of
31    our deepest sympathy.
