SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with great sadness of the death of Kevin Lamont Troupe on September 14, 2003; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Lamont Troupe was born on September 16, 1982, to June Brandon and Richard Baker in Gary, Indiana; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Troupe attended Zion Baptist Church and was on the Usher Board; as a youth, he participated in the Boy Scouts of America and attended Roosevelt High School; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Kevin Lamont Troupe has been deeply felt by many, especially his mother, June Brandon; his daughter, ShiAnn Marie Polk; his sister, Pamela R. Tillman; his brother, Stephen Baker; his sister, Angela Marie Troupe-Gunn; and his brother-in-law, Stephen Gunn; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kevin Lamont Troupe, and we send our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kevin Lamont Troupe as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
